The online system for Canadian immigration applications is notoriously hard to navigate. It is often unclear what the questions mean, and you have to enter the same information multiple times across a number of web forms and PDFs, in a language you may not know well.

This isn't just annoying—it leads to mistakes and misunderstandings. ApplyAway asks you clear questions, in your preferred language, and you never have to answer the same question twice.

Create Your Profile

Your applicant profile is how we keep track of all the personal information that we need in order to submit an immigration application on your behalf. It includes things like your full name, date of birth, nationality, marital status, and more.

Unlike using the Government of Canada's immigration portal, creating an applicant profile with ApplyAway is easy. We ask you clear questions, in your preferred language, and offer detailed advice when things get complicated.

All of your personal data is encrypted, and is never shared with any third party except the Government of Canada.

Choose Your Immigration Path

After completing your profile, you'll select which type of visa or immigration program best suits your needs. Whether you're applying for a study permit, work visa, or permanent residence, we'll guide you through the specific requirements and information needed for your chosen path.

Our system dynamically adjusts to ask only the questions relevant to your application type, ensuring you provide all necessary information while avoiding confusion about which forms or requirements apply to your situation.

Upload Your Documents

Dependent on your type of application and your answers to our questions, we will compile a complete list of uploads required by the Government of Canada, as well as notify you of any optional files that might increase your chance of success.

Our Uploads page will explain the purpose and requirements for each different upload so that you understand exactly what is required and feel confident that you have prepared your documents correctly.

Submit Your Application

Once you have completed your application we will check that all required fields and uploads are complete before creating your account with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), completing your eligibility check, and submitting your completed application.

You will receive a confirmation of submission, followed, within 2 business days, by your Government-assigned GCKey credentials, with which you can track your application on the Government of Canada's webpage. After that, we wish you well on your journey and hope to see you again if you ever wish to apply for a change in status – with your information saved, it will be that much simpler to Apply Away!
